A piece woven on looms which was completed during the Copper Leg Art Residency.

In Copper Leg Art Residency, i worked with different techniques as well as materials. Engaging in traditional artisan practices - collecting consumables from nature, dyeing textiles and weaving on looms. In all of this, i am interested in the ritual and performative aspect that accompanies the work process . Through these ancient practices, the artist tries to make sense of what it means to exist as a human being and to have a body. The body, which is our only point of contact and at the same time our separation from the rest of the world.
